The University of St Andrews German Association represents all local formations of University of St Andrews alumni in Germany. Donations to the association will help us constantly improve this platform and provide members with an enriching ecosystem of social events, mentoring, and networking opportunities. As a non-profit venture, the association depends on donations from both private individuals and organisations.

Tax effective donations of any size

The University of St Andrews German Association is able to accept tax effective donations. The 'Verein der Freunde und Förderer' is an organisation on the association register (Vereinsregister) of the local court of Bad Homburg under VR 2208. The organisation has charitable status and is entitled to issue donors with a confirmation of donation (Zuwendungsbestätigung) pursuant to § 50 EStDV (Income Tax Implementation Order). We currently accept donations via bank transfer:

For donations of €200 or below your account statement is sufficient as a proof of donation to tax authorities. For all donations above, you will receive a donation receipt by mail.
