Dr Marcel Lukas
Research Overview
Dr. Lukas primarily researches Consumer Financial Decision Making and the impact of Financial Technology. His current projects examine how budgeting apps affect spending and overall financial behavior. He is collaborating with two FinTech companies, which provide real-time insights into consumer financial decisions. His related research has informed the UK Parliament and received coverage from major news outlets, including the Times. His work on budgeting has been featured by the Financial Times and the BBC.
He is currently launching an executive education short course programm, with 50% fee reductions for St Andrews Alumni.
